A Little Ukrainian News

Some news for today: It turns out that the Minister of Justice doesn't have the training he claimed to have; he doesn't have a law degree. He claimed to have a PhD from Columbia but apparently has only a BA. It's causing quite a stink here. This minister was on the team of lawyers that argued the opposition's vote fraud case before Ukraine's Supreme Court last year. The prime minister suggested that all the ministers hang their diplomas on the walls so we can know where everyone stands. The question remains--will he be fired?

Also today, four former government officials were added to INTERPOL's wanted list. They are wanted for questioning about shady deals or violations of the law. They have all disappeared. The former head of the Central Election Commission, who oversaw the massive voting fraud last year, is on the list. His gleeful smiles all Ukraine remembers during the count of the vote probably are disappearing.

And finally, the chestnut trees in Kyiv are blooming. Spring has sprung.

Spring has sprung here in America too. Have not commented in a while. Thanks for the news,
