Kyiv's Soaring Real Estate

Ukraine built 70,700 apartments in 2004. The average size was around 1,000 sq. ft. (104.6 sq. m). The apartment we live is about 45 sq. m. In Kyiv, one square meter in an average apartment runs about $1,000. Who's paying for all this, I'll never know. Prices are expected to skyrocket in Kyiv this coming year--an average increase of 15-25%.
