The karavai and two Napoleon cakes. In the middle is the Lithuanian wedding cake. It's actually hollow inside. The wedding ended up having a little international flair. A guy who is dating a church member came from Lithuania. Lera's sister is married to a Lithuanian and they came from Lithuania. There were four Americans there and a woman from Holland.

We have been having such crazy weather. Almost every day it rains and it's cold. Today the sun is shining but I fear that it will disappear any second.

Latest Nivki Church news is that Vika Dzuba was accepted to the Fulbright program and will work on a master's degree at Georgetown. Sergiy leaves for Pepperdine in July. Vitya is going to work on a law degree at Central European University in Budapest. It's a time of change for us. We also have 6 people graduating from university and they are trying to figure out what to do, where to work, etc. It's a hard time. Pray for them: Yulya, Olya, Sergiy, Vitya, Oksana, and Liza. It's also a time they will be tempted to leave the faith, at least that has been our experience in the past.
