Pre Holiday Mood

All Kyiv waits for the 8th of March; it's a big holiday. Tonight, we had a Kyiv cake at our Study Center course to celebrate Women's Day. We studied the afterlife in the Old Testament. Next week, hell in the New!! Since basically the whole city is taking it easy for the next couple of days, there won't be any Ukrainian news. The did have the funeral for Kravchenko, the government official who was found dead--a supposed suicide. Yushchenko did release a statement that he is feeling much better, getting back to feeling normal, and he still hopes to find out who poisoned him. There were some rumors he was planning on some plastic surgery.

The city got some more snow today making sidewalks almost impassable. I think everyone is glad they don't have to go to work tomorrow.
