Sunday News
A little news from Ukraine. The prime minister announced today that normal people in Ukraine will notice an improved quality of life in 100 days. Tymoshenko also gave her support of cancelling the military parade traditionally held on May 9. Instead, the government will invite WWII veterans to Kyiv's downtown for war music and food along with free medical treatment. The government will also no longer provide "tyemniyki" to the news media. These daily updates of the government's official version of news events were used by the prior government to control the spin. The president is working on seven major strategic projects. No one really knows what they are but one is about religion (that makes me a little nervous). We are supposed to get more details very soon. So far, all thumbs up for Yushchenko and Tymoshenko!!

Please, keep me posted on the news. I would really like to know about the religious part of it.(It makes me nervous as well).
Improved quality of life in only 100 days? I admire their desire, and look forward to having my doubts proved false.
