An Anniversary

Two years ago today Lena and I were married in a restaurant on the banks of the Dnipro River. Today we celebrated by going to a small sushi cafe. Not the best stuff but since we had to squeeze it between work and cooking for our small group, it was the best we could do. I gave ourselves two books to read, a Tony Morrison novel and a history of missionary travels in the south Pacific while Victoria reigned. Tomorrow we hopefully will have a little more celebration. Oh, and 5 roses somehow made it into Lena's hands. Today is also the birthday of Lera Cherednichenko, one of the UEC's managers.

Not much Ukrainian news to report. Parliament is debating all the issues I have mentioned. Hopefully soon they will come to a decision.

We are glad to report a team from Knoxville will be working with us this summer. We look forward to getting to know them and are glad they are coming.
