Kingdom of Heaven?

When we thought we were finished working, Lena and I went to the massive Kyiv Rus movie theater to watch (in Russian) Kingdom of Heaven, the new Hollywood version of the Crusades. Can't say I understood every word, but I think I caught the big picture (and it was a huge screen--the theater seats more than 1,200 people). Just seems like all that violence was such a horrible waste of life and property. A reminder of the ugliness and horror of war, even worse when it's fought in the name of God.

We then came back to the UEC and the newsletter saga continues. After staying about 3.5 hours creating a new page and editing, we gave up and came home. I am developing a new appreciation for all those newsletters non-profits send out.

Tomorrow Lena is going back to the Polish Embassy and will hopefully pick up her passport with a visa. Paul Prill arrives on Friday and we are delighted about that.
