Friday was finally a rather productive day. We are starting to get back to a normal sleep schedule. Someone sent a bag of books to the UEC, and I had a lovely exchange at the post office. Actually, they are rather used to me dropping by, at least in this department. Fortunately, no one yelled at me, but I couldn't manage to carry all that. So, I'll be going back to the post office.
I met with Vitaly for a while. We had a great talk, got updated on some important ministry matters, and enjoyed renewing that relationship.
On Friday, I also think we made some important progress on future developments at the UEC in terms of staffing but those details still have to be worked out.
We also continue to distribute the little gifts we brought for people. Lena's mom just arrived and she is now trying on clothes. We took candy to the big church group Friday night at the UEC and that was enjoyed by many. We had a big crowd. I had a genuinely wonderful conversation (more than an hour) with Sergiy K., a young man who is going through a little spiritual revolution and is trying to convert his parents. They are coming to Kyiv on Saturday and he wanted to be prepared for their tough questions. After the Center closed, we enjoyed spending time with several of our friends, talking about life and the future, and it seems we left at 1.30AM. At times, the discussions were intense but we enjoyed being together.
Congratulations to Bogdan and Cassandra who--we think--are now married. May God bless their relationship.
And one last thing to praise the Lord for--the temperature is above freezing for about the first time in two months!!!!
