Wednesday was International Women's Day, a day off for Ukraine. We stayed at home all day. I was recovering from a cold, Lena was fighting one off. We took turns playing a computer game, read, watched a terrible movie, and talked on the phone a bit. Since it's now 14F outside, there wasn't much incentive at all to go outside. Lena is getting ready for her marketing class which starts in about a week. I am trying to finish this work on the reliability of the gospel tradition. Tuesday night we had a meeting for those interested in re-organizing our weekly church meeting. We had quite a time trying to pull everyone's ideas together into a workable proposal. We hope to present this proposal to the church council and then see where it goes from there. After the meeting, Oleg stayed for a while and talked about life.
And thanks to Lena and Sergiy, they were finally able to balance the UEC's financial statement. With two currencies, inflation, and lots of bookkeeping gymnastics, it's not an easy thing to do.
Tomorrow we aren't supposed to have any electricity all day in our building. I guess no blog on Thursday.
