Some Good News and an Update

On the good news front, Ira who had cancer surgery recently is doing well and may be released from the hospital for the holidays coming up this week in Ukraine. Hopefully we will see her before we leave. Her last test results were very positive.

Thanks to Ira and Anton, we packed up most of the rest of the stuff at the apartments and most of it is cleaned. We then called a taxi to take the bags to the UEC but none were available. So everything is still sitting there waiting for Lena to go through things one last time. I just hope that some things are packed well enough not to break. Ira was a great packer, I will say.

On the bad news front, David's plane was late, it took him a long time to get through customs and a traffic jam kept them from getting to the lawyer's office in time to sign the power of attorney. And with the country going on a holiday, we are in a bit of a legal jam. I guess David is going to get to come back to Ukraine sometime. Or, maybe we will have fun doing a power of attorney in America when Vitaly comes to the US!

Tonight is a night of preparing for tomorrow night, the last big meeting with friends/church leaders.
