Nashville--Day 2 and beyond

We are now into our Nashville experience. Yesterday was the first day I finally started to feel normal, a bit, at least not jet lagged, and a little relaxed. I had just been so tense for so long about a lot of things. It's nice to feel like it's OK to relax. I also have read more of this book on perfectionism which has helped some.
Two nights ago I woke up with my eyes swelling shut thinking I was going to have to go to the emergency. I think this had something to do with it. I survived thanks to some prescription-strength allergy medicine my mom gave. The huge cat, Colby, follows me around the Prills' house it seems. Guess it knows I have an allergy.
Otherwise, we have just been relaxing here. Been to some stores. Lena has gone swimming at the YMCA. She is working on her class. I am emailing people, avoiding doing some other things I ought to do, ordered some of my textbooks. Making travel plans.
