Still in Maryland
Still in Columbia, MD. Ate a crab sandwich in Baltimore. Enjoyed good conversation with the Kirbys. Delighted by Grace Kirby switching between Russian and English. I was told I was "English" so she would only speak English to me. She has now switched and flows freely between the two languages.
While eating on the harbor in Baltimore, I suspicioned our server to be of Slavic descent. It turns out that Yulia is from Obolon and her parents have recently moved to Borshigovka.
