Lena opened the Center this morning since Sergiy is out of town and Lera went to buy her wedding dress in a town far from Kyiv. As I came to the Center, I was met by one of the people I was meeting with and was told that they don't have time to meet until the fall. I had a nice talk planned about the resurrection but that will have to wait I guess. They did show interest in meeting in the fall. Since my two hours were now free, I helped process some materials at the UEC. Wow, it takes a long time to just get one DVD ready for circulating. They have become very popular as has just about everything else at the Center. It continues to amaze me how popular the library is. I'm so glad this little dream came true. As much as we know, we are the largest Christian library that allows free access to the collection. It's great to see so many Christian books being checked out and read and re-read. Though it's hard to track exactly what influence we are having, I know we are helping to shape a new generation of believers by giving them the tools and materials to know the living God.

We also had our Psalms group tonight. The chapter from Lewis was called "Connivance" and mostly we talked about how much time we should spend with unbelievers or people who are just plain wicked. It's a tough thing here since so many people are either blatantly unChristian or just don't believe in anything. Christian fellowship becomes very important.

Well, I should be writing my church planting paper. I have delayed and delayed. I am frustrated with Biola in that they provide no feedback and don't respond to my emails. I think I am switching schools. The only problem is that I really need to live in the USA in order to do that. I suppose ignorance will have to reign for a while longer.
